The choice of flooring material has a very significant role for over all look and proper functionality of house. Hence, the selection has to be made keeping all the requirements in your mind. Although you may have long lists of demands but durability is the foremost thing that any one will like to have in their flooring material and for this nothing can be better than Marble stone. This material is well known for its longevity from ages. Many historic structures are witnessing the longevity of Marble. Roman architectures are strong believer of Marble and they have proved their belief by using Marble for floor in each of their architectures. Long since they have been built they are remained as an example of eternal beauty.
Marble floor has always been preferred for places where heavy traffic is expected. Hence, they are used mostly in commercial complexes other than residential strictures. No matter how heavy is the foot traffic or furniture, Marble is made to bear any weight. It is strong because of its internal structure that are bound together to form a strong element which we use to build our home. It is a natural stone that takes millions of years to form under several layers of earth crust. After several years of heat and pressure it passes through refining and polishing process before it come in pieces to lie on floor.
As foresaid, it is a natural stone that encompasses beautiful designs but in an uneven pattern. The range of colors and patterns found in Marble are just awesome. They are perfect for any room or area, be it living room in a house or lounge in an office complex. They are highly rich in magnificent beauty apart from being strong. This is what inspires interior decorators to beautify interiors with Marble floors. This is because of the very real fact that their beauty does not limit decorators to certain range. They can be experimental to the any level they want with Marble.
Another plus point with Marble floor is their low maintenance feature. Comparing to any tile in the market this requires minimal care. Although, this material is porous by nature and can absorb moist along with dirt but regular mopping is enough to keep them clean. However, Marble floor is not good with acidic chemicals.
Hence, while using cleaning agent one should be careful and should avoid any acid cleaning solution. They are extremely good material for any surface and have been adored since several centuries. Their durability, beauty and easy maintenance have always made them an easy to make choice in every era. Hence, they have proven themselves as a paramount in the world of tiles so far.
