Teeth Whitening Can Bring Confidence To Your Smile
You can choose from several types or methods of teeth whitening. There are many products available on the market today. The methods include strips, gels, pens, trays and laser. Some, like laser are strictly a professional solution.
First you can get strips from your local grocer or drug store. These are basic and tend to give temporary results. You can also get kits at the drug store. You have to make a mold of your teeth and send it in to have a plastic mold made. Then you spend an hour or so each night wearing the mold after injecting it with chemicals.
If you want to get professional help, you can have an in-office bleaching that promise great results. This method is usually carried out at dental clinics and can be done quickly. The only problem with this method is that it can be very expensive. However, if you want immediate results, then this is the way forward.
There are home teeth whitening remedies such as baking soda mixed with hydrogen peroxide. Although it is effective, you must be careful when you put them in the teeth since the peroxide could damage your gums. I’ve also heard that this is very harsh on your teeth.
There are several products available at the store like toothpaste. I haven't noticed a difference using these product. Although I admit that the change may be over such a long time that I simply do not notice it.
The good news is that there are a number of options. Some are better than others. For me personally I've noticed that aging has yellowed my teeth. So for my teeth I like having these options and I’m more confident smiling in public when my teeth are white.
