Joint Pain Relief through Home Remedies

Osteoarthritis is quite common in adults over forty-five and one of the leading causes of joint pain. Vitamin E works with Vitamin C in relieving osteoarthritis pain and preserving joint health. The recommended daily dose is 400 IU.
Maintaining a diet rich in fiber also prevents and reduces joint pain brought about by osteoarthritis. The real condition to avoid here is being overweight, so eating fibrous food will actually help you to eat less, therefore allowing you to knock off some weight. Fiber also picks up inflammatory toxins and hormones that aggravate arthritis and carries them out of the body, so it decreases the chances that you'll experience osteoarthritis pain.

To perform this stretching technique, get down on your hands and knees and put your hands slightly above your head Stretch backward, keeping your elbows stiff, and come down on your heels. Another stretching motion you can do is to stand facing a wall corner and walk your fingers up the wall in the corner. You will know that you are doing it right if you can try to get your armpit in the corner.
In cases of bursitis joint pain, you can apply castor oil in the treated area only if the pain is not so severe. To make this particular remedy, spread castor oil over your afflicted joint then put cotton or wool flannel over it and apply a heating pad. If a joint that has bursitis is hot, you can use ice on it, alternating 10 minutes of ice with 10 minutes of rest, then the ice again and so on.
An alternative remedy that can accelerate joint pain relief in bursitis cases when used with standard treatments is homemade balm made from a paste of water and turmeric powder. Apply the balm once or twice a day.
Flaxseed oil, which is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, also minimized inflammation caused by recurring bursitis. They can add one or a couple of tablespoons of it to salad dressing.
