What’s the main reason?
Money, of course! Internet & phone is a convenient package that offers a phone connection and an ADSL connection to get online. Instead of paying two bills (one to use your phone line and another one to log on to the web) you just pay one bill for the two facilities. In other words: major discount!
Does the bill stay the same?
Yes it does. With internet&phone you can make phone calls and surf the web for a permanent amount of money each on a monthly basis. So basically you don’t depend on the way you use both facilities, you can use them as much as you like! The price will stay the same. Just choose the subscription that suits you best and you’ll never pay for on overpriced connection again.
Do I save money?
Because it’s a package of two things instead of two different bills, you most certainly do! With internet&phone you can choose between three kinds of subscribtions: Basic, Extra and Premium. The difference lies in the speed of the internet your prefer (upload and download speed). Another choice is the one for your phone, between CallUnlimited Weekends and NIghts of CallUnlimited Always. Unlimited means a permanent amount of money, so no nasty surprises at the end of the month.
What if others use their phone more than I do?
There’s an easy, fair solution. To make sure everyone can benefit from the advantages of internet&phone, there’s a so called Fair Use Policy. This means that payment is calculated by taking the average use of ‘normal’ customers. There’s no limit to your subscription, but if you overtake the average use extremely, you will be contacted. No fines of course, just checking in to see if maybe you’d like a different subscription.
What are the extra perks?
The combination package of internet&phone offers a lot of free, cool stuff. For example:
-
full internet service (Basic, Extra and Premium)
-
5 email boxes (30MB each) with 5 aliases
-
free Firewall, spam filter and virus scan
-
personal homepage (50 MB of hard disk)
-
full phone service
Can I get more numbers?
Yes, you can. With internet & phone there’s the option to get extra phone numbers instead of just one. Orders as many as you like, though it’s only possible to use two at the same time. Cool thing though, because you don’t have to wait for others to hang up.
Is it difficult to install?
Not so much! You’ll get everything you need to install internet&phone for free. And by this we mean the box and installation packet. Do it yourself and save a lot of money! If you need someone to install everything for you, you’re bound to make costs.
Any skeletons?
Skeletons not so much, but be aware of the fact that you can no longer use other providers after installing internet&phone. Changing providers means a fine. Your subscription lasts one year and will be silently extended, so make sure you write down when it’s time to check if you want to change things around. Analogue connections will do, no need to go digital for your phone connection. Your laptop of computer needs at least Windows 2000, so there’s a major chance you’ll have the right equipment to get internet&phone!
So, it’s cool and convenient because….?

One provider for two services
-
one bill, less costs
