The winter is one of the best times to make long journeys to discover the relaxing and exotic tropical areas around the world.
One of the goals that has been very re-evaluated in recent years due to its unique flora and fauna that make it unique and memorable in the eyes and memories of those who visit is certainly the Seychelles archipelago.
Located in the Indian Ocean and consists of about 155 islands this archipelago is one of the tourist resources and less contaminated richest traditions and untouched nature found to the north east of Madagascar and about 1600 km to the east coast of Africa, in particular the Kenya. The Seychelles islands have always been one of the most popular exotic destinations throughout the year thanks to the peace and serenity that reigns within them. The ideal holiday in the Seychelles is surely to stay in a private house near the beach and maybe allow you to enjoy nature and tranquility inherent in these places.
Places to visit in the archipelago are many each of which is worth a visit en route to take advantage of all that these fantastic islands can offer, from the views of the delights of restaurants offering fresh seafood from the unmistakable quality.
The culture of the Seychelles is a typical traditional mind, based on matriarchy, so that in many cases families are formed by single mothers, children who grow up independently. Precisely for this major cultural events of these islands are based on the predominance of the female figure whether engagements, presentations, collections of fashion or social events in general. It's not only the traditions that have influenced the culture in general and the history of the Seychelles Islands. The dual French and English rule has meant that these two types of culture will merge into a unique mix also influenced by the Kenyan tradition. In fact, despite the school structure is based on the English system the French influence is detectable in many levels of education so that in many processed Anthropological Society of Seychelles has been called "essentially English but emphatically French."
In addition to these cultural differences, however, that alone are worth a view of the archipelago, there are many natural beauties that you can find. There are many forests in the various islands and there are many tree species that can be seen as the Coco de Mer is only present on the islands of Praslin and Curieuse, or the wonderful species of wild orchids. But even animals do not leave much to be desired just think of the giant tortoises of Aldabra, or the numerous colonies of sea birds that find refuge here during migrations is that throughout the year.
Apart from relaxing in the Seychelles, however, you can play many sports especially diving or snorkeling activities widely practiced by both tourists and explorers from marine life. Of course, view the beautiful marine life here in this deep sea fishing is prohibited even if the fishing on the surface is a major resource for the sustenance of the indigenous population.
