Like what the fishermen do when they are catching the fish in the ocean, lakes, seas, river or river banks and small or large streams. • Find the ideal and right place to fish just like in Montana wherein there are four major rivers and is known for it fly fishing adventure. When you were able to locate the right place where to fish be sure to fish around rocks or under over-head trees. Fish has a great sense of smell and it has its own characteristics that may not be visible easily because they tend to stay or group themselves in some unnoticeable areas.
Bear in mind that some fish are only found in certain waters in a day. Try to become aware of the fishing time of the day and what kind of a fish you are looking for.
• Choose the appropriate bait to lure fish such as worms, locust, grasshoppers if there is any. You can look fish bait in some convenient fly shops in your place.
• Make sure you know how to entice the hook with its bait attached thereto. This is very important because fishes are also cunning, the more you become visible the more that they will ignore your bait and the more that they will going to hide themselves.
• You need to master how to cast your reel. As much as possible you need to know the right method so that you will know what to do. Some expert says that you must be skilled in order to catch the fish rather than losing it. Do not use too much force. Try to tire out the fish first before reeling it thoroughly.
• Make sure to unhook the fish. To unhook the fish see to it that you have gloves in your hand to protect from loosing the fish that you catched. You can unhook the fish using either your bare hands or with the use of appropriate pliers. Pliers could be of great tool to help in handling the fish. Try to know the techniques in using the hook.
