The use of drugs for depression is commonplace, known for their ability to help with confusion, stress, depression, insomnia and ease bipolar disorders. Lots of patients use drugs (such as Anafranil, Adapin, Aventyl, Elavil, Norpramin, Pamelor, Pertofrane, Sinequan, Surmontil, Tofranil, Vivactil etc.). These pharmaceutics can help with all kinds of pressures for modern living People often decide to take these drugs because they are easy to get a hold of. Because of their abundance, anybody may take them whenever they feel like it.
Although it may be seen as effective and helpful at first, drugs may lead to effects that would cause harm to the body and to the brain. Many of these drugs affect an individual’s capacity to think and of making good decisions. In addition, here are some other side effects:
Having a Dry Mouth
Dry mouth, also known as the Xerostomia, is defined as a complaint of the lack of saliva. This can impair speaking and eating food. Once this will not be treated immediately, this will lead to a striking rise in the number of cavities. This is caused by the loss of the saliva’s protective effect of remineralizing the enamel of a tooth and its capability of making the mucosa and a tissue in the mouth called periodontal tissue vulnerable to any infection. Bruxism can also occur, which is the clenching of the jaw, chewing as if eating, even with no food in the mouth.
Feeling Sleepy and Tired
Do you think that taking drugs would cause your body to eliminate depression and other disorders permanently? Well, drugs are just temporary solutions that would lead to bigger problems. They can interfere with the every-day functions of the body. The person can sometimes become sleepy without really knowing it. This is often known as the "involuntary sleep onset". It will cause a person to nap repeatedly. Important situations are affected, like when driving or eating.
Constipation and Bladder Problems
Internal organs can be strongly affected by drugs. Harmful chemicals may be absorbed into the body due to the effects of drugs. The result is intoxicated organs.
Problems with Sexual Health
Most of the people use drugs because they believe that drugs could increase the sex drive of an individual. However, in this case, the opposite is true. The enjoyment of sex and the strength of the sex drive is harmed. A person may not find pleasure in sex anymore since the damage the internal organs has caused the senses of the body not to work normally. The ability of the body to have an orgasm can even be impaired by the dysfunction of the internal organs.
