What I'm about to overview, in my opinion, is the most important training you may ever receive on network marketing. I know it was for me. There is plenty more to learn, of course, but this lays the groundwork for it all.

How did I stumble across it?

It was October 2009 in Missoula, MT. My paths crossed with an old co-worker of mine at a bar downtown.I recalled him talking about some mysterious business opportunity in the past so I asked him how things were coming along. He was more than happy to do so and proceeded to tell me about his business. His enthusiasm excited me and I later agreed to go check out a meeting where a top leader in his company was speaking.

I went to the meeting as promised. The speaker was a great motivator who presented a great alternative to the traditional way of making money. The idea of gaining financial independence without needing a job was a revolution for me. I would have fired my boss there and then if he was around! I decided from that point on that I was going to be independent business owner.

After the initial meeting, most, if not all, of the potential recruits headed home. I opted to stay for a second meeting. This meeting was primarily for the current members only, so I sat in the back and listened in. Some current members were questioning the leader on how to build their business. I was very unsatisfied by what this leader classified as "strategies". He claimed he often pitched his business opportunity to customers at the gas station while he was in line to pay. That was his strategy!?I knew I was not going to subject myself towards such an inefficient and tortuous "strategy".

I decided to do some research a day later online. It seemed that a lot of people went to these meetings, got fired up and joined, and later had to quit because they were not making any money. I also crossed some negative conspiracy-type (some of which I can now call absurd) comments on the company that had hosted the meeting. I was disappointed with what I initially found but searched on.

Thankfully, I stumbled across a link that sounded interesting. The content on the site addressed some of my concerns about looking for prospects. It said that I could be the hunted rather than the hunter, by using certain marketing strategies.

That's exactly what I needed!

I didn't want to go through the painful process of asking thousands of uninterested people if they were interested in my opportunity. I wanted the people currently interested to find me!

I found Mike Dillard's Seven Day Bootcamp. It explains the necessary foundation needed to catapult your online business.
