Teach the members of your family that when mommy is working, she should not be disturbed unless it is an emergency. Of course you can work on the sofa while the kids watch TV. However, if you can minimize your distractions, you will complete quality work a lot faster than if you are constantly interrupted.

Fourth, maintain a flexible attitude. Sometimes you will find jobs with strict deadlines. When you accept those jobs, you will need to focus on getting them finished. Sometimes an offer of a fun activity will arise during "work" hours. If you are able to adjust your schedule to have fun and complete your work at another time, you will enjoy freelance, work from home jobs much more.
