I think that most guys would automatically assume that buying gifts for an ex girlfriend would be a good idea, and a good way to try and get her back. What they don't know is that 9 times out of 10, that would be a bad idea. Why? Well, what do you think is going to go through her mind when she sees that you are buying gifts to try to get her back?
She is going to think that you have no idea on what she really wants and needs and that you just assume that you can "buy" her love. Of course, that is not going to go over so well with her. Plus, it also puts you in the position of being a little too obvious about the fact that you are still in love with her.
Sometimes, it is a GOOD thing to be a little more discreet and a little more vague and aloof with an ex girlfriend. Actually, it's a good thing most of the time. The last thing that you want to do is to give an ex girlfriend the impression that you think that you can just kind of buy her off.
Here's a much better way to go about getting back an ex girlfriend:
- Instead of trying to buy her gifts, work on building up her attraction to you again.
When a relationship ends, most of the time it has a lot to do with the fact that your ex girlfriend started to lose the attraction that she felt for you. It's not the thing that you want to hear, but it is what usually happens. So, instead of trying to buy her affection, work on building her attraction for you instead. You will get a lot further ahead, and you will also save yourself a lot of money and time and frustration this way.
- Make her a priority in your life, while at the same time maintaining your own life.
Now, some guys think that you cannot do both, but you really can. When you make her a priority in your life, all that means is that you are placing the desire to get her back above all of the more trivial thing in your life. That does not mean that it should or even has to become an obsession. You don't want her to think that you sit around thinking about her all day long. To most women, that is not romantic, it's a bit creepy.
- Follow a proven system that is built on the principles of the psychology of female attraction.
When you know what women really want and more importantly, what they respond to, then you kind of have a shortcut to success in getting her back. And of course, that can be a good thing for you. Most of the advice on how to get a girlfriend back out there is based on things that sound nice, but don't actually give you real results. Things like buying her gifts. You need to focus more on the things that actually work to make her WANT you again.
