No more than 60 miles separates the island of Fuerteventura, second largest of the Canary Islands from the African continent. This cloudless isle shares identical climate conditions with the infamous resorts such as Florida and Mexico. The small fishing community on the east coastline of Fuerteventura has been put on the sightseer map as it is home to one of the island premier attractions, the 'Oasis de Los Camello' zoo. This fantastic zoo is home to a variety of wildlife, but the central activities available are parrot shows, pony rides and camel safaris. Whilst waiting for the excursion visitors can unwind beneath the palms at the zoo's bar, or sample one of the exquisite seafood restaurants that have appeared in the community.
