These are 7 Keys to being an entrepreneur based upon the thousands of mistakes and imperfect choices I've made in my five years in this incredible industry.

Many times the best way to think of an entrepreneur is to think of a warrior—we are going against the grain—oftentimes on our own in many ways choosing the path that's less secure in the short term. You can't win a gold medal in figure skating hanging onto the side of the rink wall.....

  1. When others' approval doesn’t matter to you any more then you will attract people to whom it does matter

  2. Be comfortable answering the question WHAT DO YOU DO? Very quickly and smoothly—if you trip on it, stall, say um—etc. that is a disconnect with yourself and your energy and shows a lack of belief in yourself and in this industry

  3. Learn urgent vs. important –URGENT: business builder comes out of the woodwork after 4 months and says—agh!!!! Need help think I might have someone starting soon—IMPORTANT: going to the gym to stay healthy and fit and in a good frame of mind and stick with the commitment that you would go every afternoon on the weekdays at 5 pm

  4. This is sales---YES IT IS—people are buying your emotions—don’t bring baggage that’s all about you to your work--as it's all about THEM (the people that you serve)

  5. This is marketing-you are marketing change, hope, and curiosity—so don’t give away the store in your ads

  6. Success is based upon your ability to "fix" others’ problems or offer a solution. The better you can solve a problem—the more money you make—who makes more—the inventor of the SWIFFER or the person who cleans houses? Think about it....

  7. Perfect will always keep you broke—and frustrated, and emotionally congested and in the same place for weeks and months and even years……as the "perfect" person never finishes therefore never sees results--results are the only way we can celebrate, adapt, correct, improve, and ultimately get paid

Let's go get it done and thanks for stopping by....
