Not more than 60 miles separates the island of Fuerteventura, the second largest of the Canary Islands from the African continent. The island cloudless shares similar climatic conditions with the infamous places like Florida and Mexico. Unlike other resorts that have suffered from over development, Fuerteventura is relatively undiscovered, with lots of spectacular terrain to explore. Offering more than 150 peaceful beaches it is easy to make your own part of Fuerteventura isolation available during your stay.
The island has a bone-dry volcanic terrain, and with the exception of beaches, some offering it in the direction of sightseer facilities or attractions. This has held back the mega resorts and mass summer package vacation business at a distance, but it seems too many day trippers from Lanzarote and Gran Canaria arriving looking for a respite from the crowds to attract. The island's two main resort towns are Corralejo and Caleta Del Fuste. Fuerteventura is easily accessible from the alternative islands of the archipelago by boat or plane. The airport is located near the island's capital Puerto del Rosario.
Visitors do not need to go far in Fuerteventura to find a clean beach, even if you are intent on looking for privacy than other tourists. The best is near Jandia, on the southern top of the island. Juan Gomez is another one of these, with an expanse of golden sand achieved only by the Morro Jable-Punta de Jandia road. In the same area of the island is rocky black volcanic coast of La Pared, an unforgettable sight and one of the most beautiful beaches in Fuerteventura.
Is an ideal destination for the whole family is Baku Park has a water park with slides calm and shallow pools for children and Parque Europe, which opens in the evening offers various exhibitions and entertainment. The small fishing community on the eastern coast of Fuerteventura has put on the tourist map as it is home to a premier attraction of the island, the 'Oasis de Los Camello zoo. This wonderful zoo is home to a variety of animals, but the main activities available are parrot shows, pony rides and camel safaris. Pending Tour visitors can relax under the palms at the zoo bar, or try one of the superb seafood restaurants that have appeared in society. Make sure you do not miss one of the best family vacation destinations this year with a trip to the wonderful island of Fuerteventura.
