Today is 10th march 2011, this morning the journalist came to Zhong run cab service center. This was a busy scene, the taxi driver Mr.xu was cleaning a new car, when the reporter came here, Mr xu said "today he is a main actor"

This is the first cab that was installed Rear View Mirror Cameras in Hangzhou city, and there was a sign that said"the car has installed rear view mirror cameras, please behave yourself."And then Mr.xu said "welcome to take our taxi." When the journalist came into the taxi he found that there was a monitor in the Co-pilot seat and it can see the whole space of the car. From the material we know that this device can see the upper body of passengers. And there is a micro-microphone beside the co-pilot seat, so what’s your behavior and you sounds are recorded clearly by this machine. After a few minutes the reporter looked at him in the material he found that the sounds and his appearance were very clear.

Today there are 64 cars was installed this device and from today more and more car will be installed this machine. The person who in charge of the taxi company said , "we just notice the response of our city citizen , if they approve we will install all of the taxi in Hangzhou , while they against we will cancel this."

As for the taxi driver Mr.xu was very happy, he said he has drived taxi for 6 year this was the first time that his taxi had Rear View Mirror Cameras. It is much better now, with the help of it we will not afraid of disputing with passengers, sometimes some passenger are vexatious, but we had no proof, but now if they do this I will point to the monitor and say to them all your behavior and sounds have been recorded. May be they will be better now’

Mr.xu said to journalist that there is another benefit for him, the taxi driver will be safer than before. The criminal will be afraid of this because all of his behavior will be recorded by this machine.

Shoumingtao told reporter that the video they have no right to see. Different taxi has a different password, this password is belonged to traffic center, when they receive complain from passenger or policemen need them to detect case. This will adjust from the record room. If the passengers want to see this video they will offer their ID NO. And get approval from policemen.

We hope that with the help of this Rear View Mirror Cameras, taxi driver will be safer than before and passengers will behavior themselves.
