Front load washers are quickly capturing the attention of consumers. There are many reasons for people to be interested in and excited about front load washers, and they are quickly becoming a popular appliances for many homes. For years front loading machines have been available for use in Laundromats and other commercial applications. Now, they are widely available for home use.
An obvious difference between front load washers and their top load counterparts is the location of the laundry door. Even though this seems obvious, there really are advantages to having the door on the front of the washer. It really makes sense for ease of moving laundry from the washer to the dryer. With both doors on the front of the machines, the laundry doesn't need to be moved as far. It also makes moving wet laundry into a basket much easier, since it doesn't need to be lifted up and out of the machine, it can simply be scooped out of the machine right into the basket. Another advantage of front load washers is that they are easily accessible to anyone from children to adults, including those who may have disabilities.
One of the greatest features of front load washers is the extra capacity that they offer. Large or extra large capacity front load models can allow a user to wash as many as six pairs of jeans at a time. Instead of washers rocking across the room when a load becomes unbalanced, top load washers allow a large capacity of laundry to be washed easily and effortlessly. With front load washers, the tumbling motion of the tub is also much gentler on clothing than the agitation of a top loading washing machine.
Most front load washers offer multiple wash settings and additional options. Some of the wash cycle settings available include options for adjusting the temperature of the water as well as how much water is used for a load. There are settings for everything from jeans to delicate fabrics. Other cycles include pre-wash, second rinse, extra spin (to remove excess moisture) and even special stain cycles. Most front load washers also include a delayed wash option. With a delayed wash setting, laundry can be loaded in the washer and the laundry detergent and fabric softener added. The washer can then be set to begin the load minutes or even hours later. This feature of front load washers makes it easy to start a load of laundry before leaving for work in the morning and have the clothing freshly washed and ready for the dryer at the end of the day. This eliminates wet laundry standing in the washer for hours.
Front load washers look great in the laundry room and have been designed for high capacity, quiet operation. These washers are also designed with energy savings in mind and are very efficient. Most also have electronic controls to enable easy cycle selection and LED indicators to show the progress of the loads. The features offered by front load washers make them a great addition to any laundry room.
