The bather should take care to avoid getting lather in the eyes, nose and mouth. The next step is to rinse out all of the soap. The family dog may shake out any excess water or suds at will, so the cleaner should be prepared and dressed appropriately. When the process is finished, the bather should rub down the animal to soak up some of the water, then wrap up the family’s furry friend in one or two cotton towels, depending on the animal’s size.
