It seems the team at iEvilGames are at it again, this time working on a new exciting game called GooHoo. But what exactly is this new game about and why is everyone getting so excited? We've had a chat with the team to find out a little more.
So guys, what exactly is goo hoo?
Its set in a distant world where robots have been built to do the dirty work, but being so advanced they have actually rebelled and fought back! Goo Hoo is a microscopic radio controlled super-weapon designed to fight the war from the inside. The aim of the game is to control this little 'weapon' named goohoo through the obstacles within each robot, to get into the brain where it will reset the robot.
GooHoo's already sounding awesome, and quite epic!
Yeah we're still in early stages of building the game, but its really starting to feel very epic already. Its almost got that Indiana Jones feel to it, where you're off the edge of your seat the entire time, yet having fun despite coming close to death! The design of the game already has a lot of depth, and because we're inside a robotic interior is gonna be quite a roller coaster ride!
Wow, I'm feeling excited already. Where did the idea come from?
It was around the time when our last game Squid Kid was coming to an end and our designer came up with the idea of a blob of goo you throw and flick around! Its quite a simple idea, but we all really loved the idea, so from that simple concept the idea evolved to include a story and world. Its such a simple yet original idea that we hope people will fall in love with the game and character.
The character of goohoo is designed specifically for touch screen devices, and feel its pretty much the ultimate touch screen character, giving players full control of this little goo. Although the game play is very modern, it still has the feel of the games we loved as youths in the 80s such as Mario, its gonna have a real retro edge which we hope players will really appreciate.
Sounds like you got quite a team there!
Well actually its a small team of us, 4 in total. We're just a bunch of guys who loves coming up with ideas, and having fun with them. We're doing this in our free time so there's a lot of thought and time going in to the game. We really appreciate everyones input and want the world to become part of it.
How can I join in and be part of it?
We're giving players the opportunity to join in and become part of the design and development process using social media and forums, so if you visit our website you'll be able to find your way to our facebook and twitter pages. We've got quite a few discussions going already so make sure to become part of this to make it a big success!
Well guys I wish you the best of luck with Goo Hoo, and I cant wait to hear more about it later in the year closer to its release date.
GooHoo the game will be available for the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and android platforms, and promises to be action packed with as many as 45 levels!
