3. Tattooing while drunk

Choosing to get tattooed while drunk is extremely risky because the outcome of the tattoo is based on chance. To avoid this common tattoo regret, do not consume alcohol before a tattoo session for two reasons. The first and more obvious reason is because high levels of alcohol in your system inhibit your brain to make rational decisions. Secondly, alcohol thins out your blood which will lead to profuse bleeding once the tattooing commences. For this reason, most tattoo shops refuse to tattoo drunks anyways. But for your safety and to avoid possible tattoo regrets, make sure your system is free of alcohol for at least 24 hours before your tattoo session.
