Glamour First photographic studios lead a busy life – it seems they’re always on the go and in demand; transforming people and making their dreams come true. This can be a heavy burden and the studios rarely rest – but the hectic schedule seems worth it when the end of every day brings a whole new batch of beautiful modelling photography taken by most skilled photographers in London. The best photographers understand that photos aren’t just a set of digital images, taking up another file on a computer – they’re a passport for somebody, the key to their success.
Glamour’s ‘Studio 22’, located in Dean Hey Country Business Park near North Acton tube station, always wakes up bright and early. It bustles with activity as the team, including the photographers of London, stylists and technical experts prepare for the first shoot of the day. More often than not at least one of the shoots will be taken by escort agency photographers, charged with creating some highly enticing images of a new escort girl. This is always a lot of fun and we have a whole bunch of backdrops and props to enhance the look, for example a four-poster bed - we’ve really got the boudoir look down to a tee and many agencies now rely on us for all their images. There may even be a bit of nude photography, which seems to do wonders in terms of reviving anyone suffering from a mid-morning slump. Glamour First breaks briefly for lunch, but normally the staff are all too busy thinking about the afternoon’s shoots to really kickback. There’s always some kind of preparation to do, as we don’t like leaving anything to chance. Time is money after all, for everyone involved! Normally in the afternoon there might be some commercial modelling photography taking place – there are always young people about to leap into the industry, and just need to get their model portfolio sorted out first. As a photography studio in London we get a lot of nervous youngsters coming through, learning how to pose for the camera in whole new ways. Sometimes they’ll just need a make over photo but often glamour photography photos are needed, as well as the more standard modelling photography.
On occasions when modelling photography needs to be made that bit more interesting, there may be a location shoot somewhere in the city. Studio 22 may even get to put its feet up briefly while the many of the staff are busy conducting a shoot on London Bridge, or Hyde Park, or in front of the Royal Albert Hall. The best photographers are needed for these sometimes-complicated shoots, but luckily Glamour First works with the best in the business. Back in the London photo studio the day isn’t over yet, with some shoots running into the evening and the experts in the Digital Imaging Services department still hard at work. When finally the day is done and several individuals happily head home with their future (normally a CD) in their hands, the Glamour First photographic studios can finally heave a sigh of relief!
