Belts are no longer the simple accessories we put on to ensure our clothes fit closely or comfortably. Thanks to designer belts we can now create our own fashion statements and stand out from the crowd. Belts for men and women have undergone significant transformations but the variety of lady belts remains greater than those for men. Of course there is not much you can do to embellish a man’s belt rather than come up with a manly buckle and use stylish/classic materials and finishes for the belt part. For ladies, a whole lot can be done to ensure they look chichi.
There are designer belts that look regular but in fact their buckles and belts are made from high end materials. These are mostly meant for formal occasions and you should expect them to be slightly expensive. As mentioned earlier, there are plenty of options with belts for women and here we consider factors such as shapes, sizes, and colors. All these options are meant to compliment the numerous types of garments women have ranging from dresses, formal trousers, jeans, skirts, traditional outfits, shorts, to tights and so forth.
By adorning a different designer belt for the different aforementioned garments then we have a simple way of looking stunning with minimal effort. Starting us off are the studded belts that are usually made from leather with embellishments such as shells, embossed and or engraved rivets, coins among other creative crafts. These belts go very well with non-formal dresses. The large buckled belts with large belts ranging from two to three inches add more style to dresses and jeans trousers. Cinch belts follow the large buckled belts in width and they vary from three to eight inches thus making them suitable for knee-length dresses.
Thin/skinny belts are slightly thinner than the conventional belts and they are mostly used for trousers with loops for belts. They can be used for both formal and non formal occasions. There are also chain belts which are actually made from metal chain with extensions to ensure they can fit different body sizes. Others include sashes which are made from strips of fabrics and are worn with flowing trousers and long dresses, and cummerbunds/sari belts which are worn with saris.
Not all people are comfortable with buying designer belts online since they cannot feel the texture and the material of the belt itself. This can however be overturned by choosing credible online stores which actually supply the actual products displayed on their web pages.
