Truck Mounted cranes are a type of vehicle that has hydraulically operated portable pickup crane mounted over it. It is one of the most popular and widely used types of crane. A crane mounted on top of a truck make an excellent combination since it allows greater mobility to the cranes or load lifters.
This type of crane has its own engine mounted on top of a rubber wheeled chassis. The machine can be used as a crane and also it can be moved from one location to the other even when the truck is loaded with goods. The crane is fitted with outriggers, which are type of legs that extend both vertically and horizontally from the base of the truck. This provides extra stability to the vehicle while the crane is in operation. In addition, the outriggers also greatly cut the risk of tip over while moved the load from once to another. • The main body frame and other parts of the crane are made of highly durable and strong stainless steel.
• Boom trucks have top control system. This means the boom is attached to the operator’s seat. This allows the operator to have a better view of the work area and perform their task more efficiently.
• The operator has the option to control with a radio remote control, an additional fitment.
• The crane mounted on the back of the truck occupies minimal space.
• The crane has an integrated Spring Generation System (CGS). This system facilities easy and faster movement of the truck when it is not loaded.
• One of the striking features of truck mounted crane is that you can mount the crane either at the rear end of the truck load body or just behind the truck cabin. Either ways it does not affect the loading space of the truck.
• You can choose to have a hydraulic power system at the end of the boom lift, this will make clamping and goods lifting easy.
