Wet Wipes and the Grocery Store

It seems like everywhere you look these days, wet wipes are popping up. Case in point: the grocery store. As you walk in and grab your basket, you are greeted in many stores by a station featuring wet wipes. The sign invites you to grab one and wipe down the handle of your basket.
But what for? We never had this convenience in the old days, so why use them now?
The answer can be summed up in one simple yet scary word: germs.
The truth is that the handle of the basket you are pushing is teeming with other peoples’ germs. And if you fail to cleanse the surface with a wet wipe, then your hands pick up those germs. Now what? You are opening yourself up to all sorts of possibilities for infection.
How do you know the last person that touched your basket is not infected with something like strep throat? Or what about the dreadful seasonal flu? Flu shot or not-your best bet is to pick up that wet wipe and start wiping things down.
Protect the Health of Your Kids
Staying with the grocery store example, what about if you take a small child with you to the store? They sit in that seat near the front of the basket, or if they are really lucky they get one of the cool carts that have a toy race car attached for them to "drive."
Now, not that we have to tell you this, but those things are infested with germs. Kids are especially bad about not washing hands, not cover their mouths when they cough, sneezing all over things, and more. Not to mention if you have a small baby the chances are good that as soon as you turn your back they’ll have their mouths all over everything.
But if you used a wet wipe…well suddenly you don’t have to worry as much. Why? Because you have just killed 99 percent of the germs that would otherwise be endangering them.
Are You a Store Owner? Get Wet Wipes
Perhaps you own a small, local grocery store. If so, congratulations. We realize how difficult it is for a mom and pop grocery store to fend off all the giant corporate stores in this day and age.
But we also realize that you have to do things to keep up with the bigger stores. And one small thing you can do is offer wet wipes at the doorway. Your customers will be sure to appreciate this simple gesture that shows how much you truly care about them and their health.
Where Can You Get Wet Wipes for Your Store?
Not sure where to get these wet wipes? Well, let us help you out. It’s pretty simple. All you have to do is go to Google and type "wet wipes" into the search bar. Or to narrow things, you might try "wet wipes supplier." You’ll get plenty of relevant results this way. Now simply search through and find a supplier. It’s that simple!
So if you are a shopper-take a moment and kill some germs with those wet wipes. And if you own a store, provide wet wipes for your clientele. They’ll thank you!
