She will probably tell you that being an obese girl is not a problem for her, but she will say this because she is out of options. Consistent physical activity and a healthy diet will help her shed the fat. But because she is so heavy, she cannot do physical activity without it hurting her. She runs out of breathe every time that she tries to exercise. This leads to a sedentary lifestyle which leads to high blood pressure and diabetes. Diabetes and high blood pressure requires expensive treatment and medications. Unfortunately, the expense is now cutting into her finances. She starts to get into a very bad mood because she does not have enough money to spend for medicines and treatment. She knows that she needs to lose weight, but she does not have the energy to do so. She also knows that obesity is eating her life away. But, she is clueless as where to begin making changes.

He above situation seems to be the current problem for tons of American women. Not only does obesity have such a bad impact on your body, but it starts to make you feel bad about yourself as well.

How Obesity Ruins Your Body

Heart disease is a prevalent consequence of obesity. Your body’s excess fat causes plaque build-up in your arteries. When this occurs, the amount of oxygen rich blood that goes to your heart is decreased. When too much of this plaque is present, it will cause heart attack. This plaque build-up can eventually lead to heart failure.

Obesity also leads to stroke. Instead of causing a heart attack, the plaque can break off into smaller pieces and turn into a blood clot. When this blood clot gets too close to your brain, it can create a blockage that cuts off the flow of oxygen. This will lead to a stroke.

Too much excess fat also makes your body produce more estrogen. Most women may have never heard of this logic, but an accumulation of estrogen can cause an imbalance in your body’s hormones. First, it can trigger cancer in your reproductive system. The high amounts of fat will increase the production of insulin in the body. This will produce more cancer cells. Secondly, excess estrogen will throw your menstrual cycle out of whack. In order to ovulate every month, your body needs a balance of both estrogen and progesterone. When this balance is not right, you will not ovulate and pregnancy is not possible. Obesity is one of the main reasons that many women cannot get pregnant. Your only option is to get rid of the extra pounds in order to get your reproductive system functioning normally again.

In conclusion, obesity can cause a vicious cycle that many women are not able to break free from. Find a way to make a change so that your life can get back on track again.
