Labor Day's almost here, and that's a sure sign that summer's fast coming to an end. Labor Day is one of the biggest American holidays for travel, and bus tours from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon will run on their regular schedules over the holiday weekend. It would be a great time to take a motor coach tour and see the sights in the region. It is a quick day trip from Vegas and it gives you the chance to take a break from the neon and bustle of the Strip.

If things are like they're been in the past, many Labor Day Grand Canyon bus tours will sell out. That makes it important to plan ahead. I always suggest booking Grand Canyon coach tours at least a week before the date you want.

Grand Canyon bus tours leave Las Vegas at about 7 a.m. every day of the year. These bus tours last all day so if you go to the South Rim, expect to be back around 9 p.m. and if you go to the West Rim, you should be back by 8.
Which rim is best? Well, if you're into spectacular natural beauty, the South Rim's for you. Because of its 7,000-foot altitude, this rim stays more comfortable than the West Rim during the hot summer months. Plus, you can add an exciting rim-to-rim helicopter flight to your tour!

The West Rim also happens to be the only place in the National Park where you can ride in a helicopter down to the canyon bottom. And when you land, you can hop on pontoon boat and float down the Colorado River! There is no better way to see the canyon from top to bottom.
A lot of the bus tours on offer are all-inclusive so they come with lunch, pick up and drop off service, Park fees, and taxes. It is a lot better than trying to drive yourself because you can relax and enjoy the view.
The buses themselves are luxurious, modern and comfortable. They have restrooms, climate control, plasma TVs and reclining seats. They also have upgraded suspensions. You won't have to worry about a bumpy ride, even on the unpaved road you travel to get to the West Rim.
