Arthritis is a very serious condition that results in excruciating pain around the joints. Fortunately, it can be managed effectively with the right diet. Most patients seek medication obtained over the counter for treatment. This is not necessarily a good idea as this type of treatment is short lived. As a result the problem will resurface later. There are alternative methods of controlling the inflammation of the joints. There is an anti inflammatory foods list that will help you to control the inflammation and pain in the joints.
Before this, you need to have prior knowledge of the types of foods you should avoid. These are referred to as the inflammatory foods list. They include all the processed types of foods. The list includes sugars, cooking oils, saturated fats, dairy products, red meat, alcohol and the refined grains among other processed foods. Eating of any one of these foods might highly contribute to the inflammation around the joints. Arthritis is known to be enhanced by the extra weight of the body. This exerts a lot of pressure to the joints especially around the ankles and knee joints which leads to the inflammation of the joints. The inflammation triggers the release of chemical substances into the body tissues which are affected by the inflammation. As a result of the accumulation of the fluids around the joints you will experience pain around the joints.
On the other hand there is the naturally available anti inflammatory foods list that will help you to manage the inflammation around the joints. In addition to that it provides a long term solution to the problem of arthritis. Fruits make the top of the list of the anti inflammatory food list. They are known to be a power source in the treatment of a wide range of health illnesses among them being indigestion, trauma, cancer and arthritis. They are rich in vitamins and hence suitable in the cleansing of the body of toxins. These fruits include apples, avocados, lemon and strawberries among others.
Vegetables are also important in the control of inflammation around the joints. Including these types of foods in your diet everyday will help manage your arthritis problem. Examples of these include kale, leeks, olives and green beans among others. Fish contains the essential omega 3 fatty acids which are anti inflammatory. In addition to being anti inflammatory foods they help control heart diseases and cancer. Olive oils are recommended since they are unsaturated fats. This makes them to reduce inflammation around the joints and hence efficient. Other types of foods that make the anti inflammatory foods list include herbs, spices, nuts and seeds.
Arthritis is considered as a lifestyle disease. In that case you should be able to check on your diet and the foods that you eat. This means that apart from eating a balanced diet, there are foods that you should keep off. As we have seen you should adopt organic foods as they contain less toxins in them. This will help you to effectively manage your health condition.
