Turmeric: Possibly this is king and queen of all the anti inflammatory spices because it has so many medicinal values in it. This particular spice prevents the oxidation of all kinds of dietary fats in the food at the time of cooking. Other than this, it also reduces the oxidative stress inside the body that helps you in reduction of all kinds of inflammation and it can give some great color and taste as well to your meal.
Ginger: Just like turmeric ginger is also a very potent spice against all kinds of inflammation and this is one of those anti inflammatory spices that are effective in various forms. You can add fresh ginger in your tea and it will help you in tonsils, cold, flu, headache and various other similar problems. Cinnamon reduces the inflammatory responses from the body in a natural way and the person feels more relaxed after consuming it. Other than this, it has some anti bacterial properties as well and it helps the body against a number of bacterial infections as well. Black pepper: We all know that black pepper can increase the taste of our food, but very few of us are aware about this fact that it can reduce the inflammatory response of the body. This reduced response of inflammation helps you in a number of situations and that's why experts recommend you to add this spice ti your food.
Nutmeg: Nutmeg is one of those spices that have so many medicinal values and this spice has been an integral part of all kinds of Indian cousin since many centuries. Various researchers found that this spice can kill a number of pathogens that cause disease and it can prevent more than 25 bacteria species. Also, nutmeg oil can be used as a very effective topical ointment for reducing the muscles and joint pain. Other than these spices cardamom, basil, cloves, cilantro, chives, rosemary, cumin seed are few other spices that contain anti inflammatory property and help people in a great way.
