- Clear Master Cache to Speed Up MacBook
The MacBook's main cache is a temporary storage area that stores frequently accessed files to speed up loading. However, over time, this cache can fill up with old or unnecessary files, significantly slowing down the system. To speed up your MacBook, it's important to clean the main cache regularly. This is a simple task that even someone who is new to computers can do.
First, open Finder on your MacBook by clicking on the icon in the taskbar. Click on “ Go ” in the top menu bar and then select “ Go to Folder .”
In the dialog box that appears, type “/Library ” and press Enter.
Locate the “ Caches ” folder, inside “ Library ”, and delete all the files and folders it contains.
Once this phase is completed, all you have to do is clear the cache for the current user.
