How History was Changed

“. . . . (John F.) Kennedy’s feelings about Vietnam went beyond mere qualms: he had already reached a decision and acted on it. In National Security Action Memorandum 263, dated October 11, 1963, Kennedy articulated his decision to withdraw all US military forces from Vietnam by the end of 1965 — with the withdrawal to be completed after the 1964 election. This was the formal policy of the United States government on the day he died.” Source: JFK Had Ordered Full Withdrawal from Vietnam: Solid Evidence PBS Vietnam Series: Glossing over JFK’s Exit Strategy, James K. Galbraith, 09/26/17
When John F. Kennedy (JFK) was assassinated, the dream of withdrawing from Vietnam was put on hold until March 12, 1968, when the 1968 New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary was held. In that primary an upstart Senator by the name of Gene McCarthy ran against incumbent president Lyndon Johnson and while McCarthy lost, he garnered an amazing 42% of the vote and, although Johnson won, he won by less than a majority.
Four days later, Robert F. Kennedy announced his candidacy and we were off to the races.
Fast forward 55-years. In October of 2023, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (RFK, Jr.) announced his intentions to enter the Democratic Primaries.
In order to thwart RFK, Jr. and, in retrospect, hide President Biden’s frailties, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) voted to eliminate New Hampshire (N.H.) as the first primary state and to select South Carolina (S.C.), where they figured (accurately) that Biden would be a shoo-in without having to face the rigors a campaign in New Hampshire would have posed.
For, as RFK, Jr. said, New Hampshire is where “. . . . politicians get a real democracy. They encounter people. They have to go to the hair salons, the barber shops, the diners, the gas stations. They have to talk to the 80-year-old lady who reads the Financial Times and The Economist every week,” all things the DNC wanted Biden to avoid.
Had the cartel not interfered, the odds are that Biden’s frailties would have been exposed early-on and, while it would not have guaranteed that RFK, Jr. would win the Democratic nomination, more likely than not, as in 1968, other challengers would have entered the race and the honing of primary debates would have produced a qualified candidate. (The Democrats had a plethora of presidential timber from which to choose – all of whom were effectively iced-out.)
The only other thing missing from history repeating itself, is a similarity to the assassination of JFK, but we came close.
In 1963, JFK’s alleged assassin was killed before there could be a trial to expose the motives or parties behind his assassination.
In 2024, DJT, (who as in the case of JFK also announced his intentions to stop war), was also fired upon with a rifle and his “attempted” assassin, as with JFK’s alleged assassin, was killed before the motives or parties behind that attempted assassination could be exposed.
In 1968, RFK was assassinated, the president decided not to run and his vice-president, the cartel’s favorite, eventually received the Democratic Nomination.
In 2024, RFK, Jr. was eliminated as a challenger, the president decided not to run and his vice-president, the cartel’s favorite, eventually received the Democratic nomination. (This time, however, the Veep won without ever having to campaign.)
So, as Yogi Berra might say, “It’s Déjà vu all over again.”
Maybe!
In 1968 there were no mail-in-ballots, no drop-boxes, no early and no late voting. One showed up at the voting booth, check-in with the registrar and voted. Or, if one were in the military or abroad, one requested an absentee ballot from the county clerk, who first verified the voter rolls before releasing a blank ballot.
In 2020, the incumbent received more votes than any candidate, for any office, in the written history of the United States, ended the war with Isis, accomplished 5 peace treaties between Arabs and Jews, made the U.S. energy independent and drew campaign crowds in the tens of thousands.
Yet, he lost to a candidate who, in three attempts, ran for president and never garnered enough votes to even stay in contention through the primaries, but who, this time, won by staying in his basement and having proxies (e.g. having 51 “intelligence experts” allege Russian interference and major news networks criticize his opponent) do his bidding for him.
So, today we have to pray for a free and fair election, then wait and see who counts the ballots and what ballots are counted.
