Ladies if you are using fashion and celebrity as your guide to looking and feeling sexy and being sexually appealing to the opposite sex, you maybe wasting your time, money and efforts.
Women are being sold the idea that more skin and more cleavage is what makes them attractive to the opposite sex. Don't confuse fashion with being sexually appealing and desirable.
I will admit as a male that lots of skin and displayed cleavage gets my attention. But is it really attractive? Alluring yes, attention getting yes, but attractive? A car crash or train wreck attracts a lot of attention. But you wouldn't want to be in one.
What really attracts a male is femaleness. A nearly naked or naked female arouses a male. Exposed breasts can excite a male. Some would say large breasts attract a male and are the key to a woman's sexuality. Others would argue it's great legs.
I think western culture's focus on breasts size has made women and men get distracted by them (pun intended). Many women base their femininity on their breast size. Some women more than others.
The truth is, that when it comes to sexual desirability and attractiveness or sex appeal: waist-to-hip ratio it the actual body aesthetic quality that has the most powerful effect on the opposite sex.
Research done several years ago discovered males find women with good waist-to-hip ratios the most sexually desirable. The most desirable (read that as the most attractive to men) waist-to-hip ratio for women is about 0.7. The waist-to-hip ratio means the circumference of the waist is 70 % of the circumference of the hips. For example if a woman measures 37 inches at her hips, her waist should be 26 inches for maximum sex appeal. It translates to a narrow waist and broad hips. Breast size and facial beauty were secondary according to the researchers findings. A handy tool for determining your waist-to-hip ratio can be found at the bottom of this article.
In the study men were asked to identify pictures of women they found to be most attractive. The 0.7 waist-to-hip ratio was the common factor amongst all the men no matter what their cultural background. The research concluded that males are hard wired in their brains to find females with good waist to hip ratios desirable for sex and marriage. The reason: waist-to-hip ratio is an indication of fertility. Women with a waist-to-hip ratio within the 0.7 range were found to have optimal levels of estrogen and are less prone to such things as diabetes, heart disease, and ovarian cancers.
Ladies remember breasts are flashy but a good waist-to-hip ratio is classy (healthy and attractive) and has the most sex appeal. If you want to maximize your sex appeal, put your time, money and efforts into having a good waist-to-hip ratio (in other words be good to yourself and pay attention to your nutrition and exercise habits).
