Now for all of you Sneaker Freakers out there. This article may be of great help to you. Now some of you may know of these online stores depending on where you live. They may sound very familiar or they may not. If they dont it really doesnt matter because the aim of this article is to inform you.

As an avid sneaker lover, there is a growing battle in the search to find new and authentic sneakers on the web. There are maybe something close to 600 million sneaker sites on the web, and only 17 of them sell authentic sneakers. Ok maybe 17 is a slight exaggeration but it is becoming harder and harder to find authentic sneaker on the internet. I am sure you have experienced exactly what I am saying and if you haven`t I am sure you can relate to my findings.

Now I will only compare my two favourite online stores which are PickYourShoes (PYS) and MainSource (MS). If you are questioning the reason behind this article. I can definitely tell you it is not a sales pitch, I don`t have 200 affiliate links throughout the article. I just want to help out a fellow sneaker lover. I think thats fair enough. Right?

PickYourShoes (PYS) were established in 2002 . PYS has a solid presence in the market as they have been trading for donkey years. Well not really donkey years let`s say closer to 5 years. PYS are located in California in USA. I have used PYS many times and they have always provided good customer service and prompt delivery. That kind of says a lot about their company given the fact I live in the UK.

MainSource (MS) have been trading since 2004. Based in the UK, I am a firm favourite and a regular customer. With fast delivery and great customer service you can`t go wrong with MainSource. MS also have a physical shop which can do wonders for your piece of mind.

PYS Pros, Buy two items and get free shipping but that is only available to customers located in the states. So if you are stateside, lucky you. PYS have a very wide selection of sneakers. Most probably the largest selection of I have seen on any online sneaker store. They stock some very rare sneakers. They accept two payment methods, Paypal and Money order. An option to pay more for faster shipping.

MS Pros, have a large selection of sneakers but nowhere near the size of the inventory that PYS hold. They have very cheap shipping on UK orders. There customer service is amazing with email, phone and postal contact available.

PYS Cons, they could have better customer service. Most enquiries are dealt with through email. Shipping overseas is very expensive. Sneakers listed on the site that are not in stock, searching through sneakers at times can become very tedious.

Main Source Cons there selection is not as wide as it could be.

So the real question is where should you go to buy sneakers online? Well if you are stateside (living in the US) there is no doubt in my mind I would recommend PYS over MS. But If you are living in the UK and feel that the international shipping rates are way too much then MS is for you.
