Fear often originates from a sense of not being in control. The reality is that when people try to control people or threaten other people it just exposed their lack of self-love. If we accepted people and situations for what they are, we would be back to the universal definition of love as someone said "Love is the opposite of fear".
Love exists at the level of the higher self but fear is just an emotion. All emotions actually exist at the level of the lower self which means the ego or personality level. Quite often we trade the experience of love for the emotion of fear and inhibit our abilities to co-create and manifest fear. We cannot experience love and fear together simultaneously.
We need more love and less fear. What we should do is to identify when fear is present. We've all experienced extreme fear at sometime in our lives. Perhaps we can not forget that moment for the whole life. A more subtle type of fear can be expressed such as anger, suspicion, frustration, anxiety etc. As long as you have one of these emotion then you can find fear is at work. Fear is fear, whatever its label, subtle or otherwise.
For example, one day your neighbor had a comment like that "you could do a better job of keeping your front lawn tidy in conformance to neighborhood standards." then you probably feel a rush of adrenaline, a quickening respiration, and even had much worse thoughts about driving across his lawn in the middle of the night with a truck. Most of us would definitely describe this emotional state as anger. But now after considering what anger come from,You will be criticized because someone else doesn't like your lawn. Most of us will feel that we are inferior because our lawn is judged as being inferior. Then we fear that our lack of self-love has been exposed.
The reality is that our insecure ego fears the exposure of our self-imposed inadequacy. The criticism of our lawn caused our anger and became a focal point to draw attention away from our lack of self-love. The greater your reactions, the more it reflects on the level of your self-imposed inadequacy.
There are some steps for transferring fear into love
Recognize your negative emotion and get feel that its source is just fear. Think about your initial emotion and record what you are fearing. Trace it to its root in fear.
Get know that whatever caused the wound was ego-generated and independent of your true self. Please understand that the people involved were yelling out their feelings of self-inadequacy, a process that had nothing to do with who you are. You were just a a role in the play, but what happened was not your fault.
To make this transformation complete and permanent, you will need to get out of the old wound. If you identify the negative emotion and know the way of the healing, you can transmute fear to love soon . You had better repeat this over and over again till the old fear-based habit will give way for acceptance of life.
