Iontophoresis is a painless alternative to botox injection in which a weak electrical current is used to stimulate mineral-carrying ions to pass through the palms or feet. Iontophoresis is the process of using an iontophoresis device to cure sweaty palms and feet. This is a process that is not new to the medical world. You can find medical document referring to these results for over many years now. The iontophoresis device is a machine that sends out an electrical current through a water buffer to the pores of your skin. Iontophoresis devices can be found at medical suppliers around the globe. The problem with iontophoresis for years has been the cost of these machines. You would also find that it could be difficult to get many insurance companies to pay for the machine. These machines are very basic and the costs do not match what they do. Each iontophoresis device sends out a light electrical current to block the pores in the hands or feet. After a week worth of treatments most patients have had their sweating disappear. After this patients just need a maintenance plan to keep the sweating at bay.
Don't worry, the procedure is completely painless and you barely even feel the current in the water. We're talking VERY low voltage here. The minerals create a temporary thickness in the sweat pores of the hands and feet that ends the profuse sweating for a matter of weeks. Without continued iontophoresis therapy, the sweating does come back, however, this have been proven as one of the most consistent and predictive hyperhidrosis treatments available. The great thing with iontophoresis is that you can use it basically however you want. You can do one treatment every second or third day and if you are in a hurry you can do up to two treatments per day which would mean you'd get cured of sweating in just 5 days.
Iontophoresis of course. This is a non surgical, non invasive procedure to stop palmar hyperhidrosis and cure sweaty palms which has been tested and proven effective since its debut about 50 years ago, and with no side effects. It is basically a treatment whereby you put your palms in water through which a very mild electrical current passes. It's completely safe and all you feel is a slight tingling. The electrical current reacts with the minerals in the tap water to block the hand sweating. The process takes about 15 to 20 minutes, to be done daily over a one week period. Thereafter, you only need to maintain the consistent dry palms with a session every 3 weeks.
Iontophoresis is the treatment which helped me get dry palms. Since its debut more than 50 years ago, there is millions of sweaty hands suffers who have benefited from this treatment. The added benefits lie in that it is non surgical and non invasive with no side effects. Hence, for those who are afraid to go under the knife this is a good alternative. The process is also simple. Soak your palms in separate trays of water and connect to the Iontophoresis device for 20 minutes. Repeat daily and you will be your dry palms within one week. Keep to a maintenance mode of this 20 minute session once every three weeks for best continued results.
Do not try other surgical or invasive procedures until you have tried iontophoresis. And whether you purchase your iontophoresis device or make your own, you will never regret this choice. And before you knew it, you would be going about your daily activities with dry palms. So, stop procrastinating and start living again.
