Today, Excalibur manufactures hundreds of products for the Avionics Industry. From 1553 connectors, 1553 cables, 1553 couplers and cards to sophisticated and complete systems, our commitment to customer service is legendary. Excalibur has received numerous awards, accolades and commendations for our products and more importantly for our service and support. Excalibur builds and maintains long-standing relationships with our customers, which we refer to as our "partners".

Excalibur Systems was established in 1986 by its president Mark H. Blisko. His vision, ethics, leadership and a great sense for making business have rapidly transformed Excalibur Systems into an avionic industry leader. One of it's first successes was design of the first ARINC-429 interface card for the personal computer, a product that has established Excalibur as an industry leader and a major player parlayed its early success when it designed to become a major player in the avionic industry.

Presently Excalibur Systems manufactures hundreds of products for the avionic industry. Its customers include major defense contractors, airlines, governmental agencies and private commercial avionic companies. Excalibur supplies these companies with an array of connectors, cables, cable assemblies, couplers and cards to sophisticated systems.

Excalibur prides itself on its commitment to customer service. It has received numerous awards, accolades and commendations for its superior service and support of its products. Excalibur’s goal of building a long-standing relationship with each of its customers is evidenced by the amount of repeat business it receives from its customers.

The EXC-1553PCMCIA/B is an intelligent MIL-STD-1553 interface card for PCMCIA equipped computers. The card’s small size and compatibility with notebook computers make it the perfect solution for performing system simulation of the MIL-STD-1553 bus, in the lab and in the field.

The EXC-1553PCMCIA/B can be programmed to operate as a Bus Controller, Remote Terminal, and Remote Terminal/Concurrent Monitor. The internal 64K word dual port RAM provides sufficient memory for advanced test and simulation requirements. Card operation may be programmed in real time.

The EXC-1553PCMCIA/B is supplied complete with C driver software library with source code and Merlin application software.
