How to Relieve Ear Ache?

Ear ache pain is usually due to infections of the ear. This is sometimes accompanied with dizziness, fever, a sensation that something is closing the ear and loss of hearing temporarily. Kids that are affected with ear aches are more irritated often cries, having headaches, problem when sleeping, having a fever and scratching their ears. There is also some clear liquid that comes out from the ear. Commonly, ear infections moves out on their own after 2-3 days. But, if there is already a pus of blood that comes out from the ear this may be a sign of spelled eardrum and a doctor must see this case when it occur.
Taking readily-available medications such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen is also allowed following the right guidelines which in indicated within the label. You can also make a hot compress with the use of a towel soak in a hot water and when it is already warm, squeeze the excess water and put the towel in the aching ear. This is helpful in reducing the pain. Another is chewing gum; this will help in alleviating the pressure of the infected ear as well as easing the infection.
Another best remedy is olive oil; by putting a few drops of the oil inside the affected ear it can provide a relief in the aching ear. There are also available over the counter medicines drops which are intended for ear pains. But, these are not allowed when there is already a burst inside the ear. Garlic is also a good natural remedy, you just need to mix a teaspoon of sesame oil and a clove of garlic, and heat the mixture until it will become warm slightly. Lie on your side of the infected ear dropping about 4 drops of the mixture inside the ear and allow it to work inside the ear for about 10 minutes.
In case, these remedies doesn’t relieve an aching ear better visit your doctor to prescribe the necessary medications needed.
