As men approach that golden age of 30 it is not uncommon to get odd strands of nasal hair protruding from the depths of your nose. The bad news is that once you start to notice these stray nasal hairs more and more nasal hair will start to emerge as you get older. Male Grooming has moved on a great deal since the days where men just simply shaved and added a splash of aftershave. Nowadays there are many grooming products for men that help to keep skin and hair looking and feeling great.
Men who suffer from greasy skin should use a light moisturizing lotion or lightly scented aftershave balm. If you experience shaving rash or razor burn (unsightly red bumps due to swollen hair follicles which are often itchy and irritated), use pre-shave cleansing and exfoliation to minimise the problem. If your skin still reacts, fragrance and colour-free products should be used. Cleansing is the first stage of the daily grooming routine, followed by shaving, finishing with moisturising. You need to cleanse and moisturize your face in the morning and last thing at night, even if you only shave once a day.
Know your skin type. So that you can get the most from your skin care regime use products designed for your skin type. For example, if you have oily skin you want to be using an oil free moisturizer and if you have sensitive skin look for a moisturizer with built in sun protection. The well groomed man should have a clear, clean complexion.
You don’t have to have to spend hundreds of dollars on your shoes to keep them looking good. Some guys forget this detail, but polished shoes show that you care about your entire image. You can buy a sponge brush at most stores that sell dress shoes. Also, when buying a new pair of shoes for work, before wearing them have heal and toe protectors put on them at the nearest shoe repair shop.
As opposed to more established women’s skin care lines that just added a men’s line with a percentage of their R&D department devoted to it and may not have the specific knowledge about men‘s skin care needs. One must understand that although a lot of the ingredients are the same for both men’s and women’s’ skin care products, the concentration of these ingredients is very different and that is where the knowledge part comes in. Do not assume that if one can create and effective product for a woman, one can do the same for a man.
Trim the protruding nasal hairs with a pair of blunt-ended scissors or an electric nose hair trimmer. If using scissors take care and trim only as far as you can easily see in a mirror doesn’t stick the scissors up your nasal passage unless you like the Daniela Westbrook look! You may find it useful to push the tip of your nose upwards to give better access to trim your nasal hairs.
Hair straighteners for men have become increasingly popular as more men have longer hair, and are looking to create more and more styles and looks. Rather than just having long hair, many men have longer hair at the front or the sides than the back. By using straighteners, you can control your hair and style it as you want it.
