After being in the web design trade since 1999 we have had a lot of customers come to us saying they are not happy with their current web design company.

Here is a check list to choose the right web design company for you.

1. The most important is after sales support. Please make sure the web design company will give you support after they have completed your website. The last thing you don’t want is to be left in the dark after you have paid a lot of money for a website.

2. Make sure you do not pay the earth for a web design company to host your website. Also please check the company’s portfolio to see if their existing websites they have built do not run slow as you do not want your website running slow as this will cause you to lose business.

3. Get quotes from at least 5 web design companies as the price can vary a lot.

4. Make sure the web design company is not to pushy after all you need to make sure you can work with them.

5. A web design company needs to be good listeners as you want them to build a website based on your needs and not theirs.

6. Make sure the company is a well established company and they work during office hours. Web designers who work part time usually got a full time job elsewhere therefore they will not be available to talk to throughout the day.

7. Read the web design testimonials and feel free to contact their clients and ask them what the company’s service is like and to see if they are happy with the company.

8. If you agree to work with the web design company you have chosen be sure to read the terms and conditions inside and out before you sign the contract. Make sure every you need is in the terms this way you would not get charged more money.

9. Make sure they do not share your personal information to third parties.

If you follow all these steps you should not get disappointed. If you’re ever in any doubt do not use the web design company you have to be 100% totally sure, and most of all happy.
