One of the main things you should know with your website is that you need to expand your income.

Supposing you have most of your ads with Google AdSense. Let’s suppose it makes up 90% of your online earnings. Supposing Google will terminate your account! You would lose 90% of your website's profit, then what would you do? Would you be able to reclaim your financial freedom immediately? For most individuals, they would not.

If you have a site, you can diversify by using pay-per-click, direct leads, CPA or cost per action or by getting commissions from promoting products or services.

It's always best to examine the performance of your website. One way of doing this is by observing which banners and ads are performing well and which ones are not. It's also a good idea to alternate your banners every few months anyway to get "fresh blood" on your site. You have to do this because your surfers will eventually overlook all your ads and banners as they become "banner blind".

Creating other websites is another way of expanding one’s profit. Now, I have some websites that I get profit from. Almost 4 months back, Google banned one of my sites from their search engine! Among internet marketers, this is a familiar occurrence. Apparently they regard my website as a link farm because of the loads of outgoing links to sponsor ads. However that site at the time was raking in roughly $1000 per month. If I didn't have all of my other websites to pick up the slack, can you imagine the mess that could have happened?

Another way to expand your websites is to have a number of them on different servers. The market is offering good quality hosting at dirt cheap prices. Let’s suppose throw one or two of them up on a $5.99 a month server and pay for a year's worth of hosting, you're doing the right thing. Not only does it have search engine benefits, but if one of your servers should go down, not all of your sites are down at once.
