It reached No 6 on the Billboard Country Chart. Her first recorded album was self-entitled and debuted a few months later. It created a massive storm. In the span of 2 years that album has already sold over 3 million copies while recorded downloads of 7.5 million singles.

Her subsequent album, Fearless, debuted about two years later in November, 2008. It climbed right to the top of the Billboard 200 Album Chart and broke records on many other counts. The great success encouraged Taylor to organize her first tour named after her second album. The Fearless Tour 2009 was set into motion on the 23rd of April, 2009 in Evansville, Indiana. It lasted 6 months covering 50 cities around the globe with all performances getting sold-out very quickly, making it the most attended and talked about shows in 2009.
