Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by infections by a parasite mite called Sarcoptes scabiei. This disease is most often spread from person to person because of a direct contact of skin to skin.
It is also true that the disease can spread through physical contact of clothes used by the scabies infected person.The person who is infected with scabies suffers from high level of itching sensation.
These mites produce a substance while laying eggs on the human skin and the toxic substance creates the allergy. These eggs are laid under the skin surfaces which are later developed into mites. This oil can also be applied directly to most adversely affected part of the body. Use a cotton wool to apply the oil rather than using your hands.The bath should be repeated for more than 2 weeks to observe better results. Neem oil can also be used for the treatment of scabies.
This is not widely used because the oil is not extensively found in many parts of the world. Neem oil can be combined with mustard oil along with turmeric and can be applied to direct skin to give a relaxed feeling.
If you choose to use these oil treatments then make sure to wash your cloths and bed sheets with hot water to prevent the infection to other member of your family.
