Chiropractor Update: Neck Ache? Can we make it go away?

Do you know what causes neck aches? No it's not people who are a pain in the neck.

The primary reason for most neck pain is your spine is out of alignment. Your spine functions in a very predictable, very certain ways which you should be aware of.

When you spin is out of alignment, especially the upper part of your spine, you are almost guaranteed to feel some discomfort.

Now, for some people they attempt to make the problem. How do they do that? Well, they take medication.

Now, there's nothing wrong with that and if you're in extreme pain, people will do almost anything to get out of it, including taking drugs and medicine which they have no idea the effects it will have on their bodies and the rest of their lives.

For instance, have you ever taken a drug called a "muscle relaxer?" These are drugs which basically make you feel good. They don't really relax a muscles or a group of muscles. They relax YOU.

They relax you so much, that you can't think clearly, you can't drive, you can't have a meaningful conversation. You can't do anything except sit on your couch and vegetate.

Now, that may be fine for some, but if you have a life, a family, a career, someone in your life you love, you know, that's not a way to live by any stretch of the imagination.

So how do you deal with severe neck pain? What's the best way?

The best way is without drugs, without anesthesia and without surgery. To do that you need a chiropractor.

A chiropractor makes "adjustments" to your spine. These adjustments bring the spine back into the alignment. You may not be able to see a misaligned spine, but the doctor can.

They have certain tests they perform, as well as taking x-rays from different angles to see what the issue is.
