Mini split types have prices ranging from $1,500 to $2,000 per ton of cooling capacity. Thus, if these mini split types are compared to ordinary window types or other central air conditioning systems, they cost 30% more. In addition, the cost of mini split types with the same capacity as other air conditioning systems is doubled.
