Notice that a new menu has popped up from the lower right hand corner. If you chose a carousel gallery, for example, it'll give you several options for different carousel type galleries from which to choose.

Managing Galleries

After inserting the gallery, notice the new menu at the bottom of the screen and click the 'manage' button to start uploading your photos. You can also change the navigator, add an extra one, change its color, add general effects to the entire gallery or to single pictures and do just about anything you want to customize your website's appearance and make it absolutely perfect.

The Importance of Captions

Take your time and write captions to go along with your pictures. The photographer's portfolio template for example, deals with the dilemma of balancing image and text in an interesting way. The portfolio page features single pictures with a text narrative beneath them, while the gallery page features a matrix gallery that displays all the pictures side by side, creating a colorful extravaganza.

Categorizing
