The history of modern designer lighting equipment is associated with Flos, established in 1962 by famous illumination designer brothers Achille Castiglioni and Pier Giacomo, the designer lighting equipment retailer based in Italy. More importantly than these awards are the growing customer base and demand for the products of Flow, that actually became the driving force for Flos. Now Flos is every where like London, New York, Milan, Hongkong, Paris, Rome and so on. Flos people are also working in some more places like Holland, France, Germany, Britain, Belgium, Spain, Norway, Denmark and so on. It is less likely that Flos has to stop at some point, they have a smooth growth potential ahead only for their excellent designing skills, brilliant material sourcing capabilities.
