Going on holiday? Do you not want your pet dogs to miss out on all that holiday action? Well, no longer do your dogs have to be left alone at home, with your neighbours or at your friends place. They can just as easily accompany you without any hassles or concerns about their accommodation and other needs. There are several cities in the UK that offer dog friendly holidays which allow your dogs to enjoy themselves by providing them with all the comforts and needs that they need.
Depending on where you go, while enjoying the same accommodation as you, your dogs can enjoy vast stretches of scenic countryside, rural estate land or long stretches of coastline that are all specifically designed to be dog friendly! Furthermore, you can find dog friendly holidays all year round. Dog friendly holidays can be found at reasonable prices too, with the charge typically being based per dog for each week or short break of stay.
There is a range of accommodation available for you and your pet dog, from bed and breakfast inns, to cottages to hotels, houses, sea front guest houses and inns. Cottages are a popular form of accommodation amongst people travelling with their pets as these may be self catering, allowing you to feed your dog as you please. Farm cottages and other cottages also have their own enclosed secure gardens which are ideal for keeping pets contained. Dog friendly accommodation with nature trails, country walks and walking paths are also suitable so that you can walk your dogs with no worry of losing them.
A dog friendly holiday offers more than just letting your dog live in the same place as you. Some dog friendly hotels allow you to enjoy your meals whilst dining with your pet. Some pubs allow you to accommodate up to two dogs ensuring that your dogs don’t miss out on any holiday entertainment. There are also certain cafés and restaurants that allow you to bring your dog inside. Certain cottages may also offer additional services such as dog washes for washing mud or salt off your dogs, sometimes done free for the first dog. You may also be able to find dog- sitters, trainers and behaviourists, kennels, grooming and other services for your dog.
South Devon is a popular destination for a holiday or short break with your dog. This city has miles of fantastic dog walking coastline and many beaches, pubs and attractions that welcome your dogs.
