There are many types of acne and cystic acne is one of it. Cystic acne is very painful, can cause deeper scarring and is considered a severe type of acne. Most of the case that causes cystic acne is the hormonal change we experienced. For most of the cases, adults are usually the ones getting cystic acne.
The other causes of cystic acne is genetic and also your diet. Stress is suspected to be one of the cause of cystic acne but it is yet to be proven. What we can do about it is to control what we can which is through our diet and our lifestyle where stress comes from.
Lifestyle can bring a lot of stress and factors that causes acne. Sometimes, it's the wrong makeup, the unclean makeup tools and other habits that we did not realize contributes to the formation of acne on our skin.
Habits such as placing our hands or frequent contact of our hands on our face can cause acne as there is a big possibility of bacteria getting transferred to our skin. Pillow cases, towels that are not washed frequently can collect bacteria that can cause inflammation to our skin. At times, haircuts too causes us to get acne when we have hair that keeps getting on our face and the climate is hot where we sweat a lot. The hot climate and the heat from our body makes it a breeding ground for bacteria which leads to acne problems.
Diet also causes cystic acne. When our internal body is not healthy where our liver and kidney is not working efficiently, it will push the workload to our skin. When our skin is the one excreting more toxins than it should, the toxins will result to acne on our skin. Being healthy is important where we should eat healthily to ensure our organs are efficient.

Acne on the cheeks are caused by hormonal imbalance while acne on the chin is usually related to our digestive system.
