Like any type of product fundraiser, the target of a salsa fundraiser is to make sales. The sales that a group gets to make during an elementary school fundraiser will serve as the main thing that will provide them profits, which they can later use on the projects that they were planning to fund in the first place. Selling products may sound easy at first glance however; this requires a lot of time and effort, which is why I will be providing you some good sales tips in this article that you and your volunteers can make use of so that you can maximize your efforts.
The first thing you can do is to send the products of your salsa fundraise home with each of your students. One of the key factors that will make fundraising ideas work effectively would be participation. The greater the amount of participation that you can get from your students, the higher the chances of your fundraiser succeeding will be. You can ensure that all of your students get involved by holding a kick off assembly before you start the engines of your campaign. During the assembly, you can orient your team about the goals and objectives of your campaign so that they can have a good idea as to what you need to achieve. Moreover, this will enable you to inform your students as to why they need to work hard to make your campaign work. When you send your products home to your students, provide each of them a certain number of bottles, an order form, and tell them to try to sell at least five bottles to each of their family members, friends, and relatives.
The next thing you can do is to announce your fundraiser way before you get it started. Try to post flyers or announcements in your school bulletin and in bulletins in your community so that you can spread the news regarding your plans. This will enable you to spread the news about your campaign so that you people who will be willing to support your cause may be able to do so by giving you sales. Aside from making door to door sales, you can also try to set up a booth outside your school or in an area in your community where a lot of people are always passing by so that you can increase the potential of you making sales.
Try to send emails as well so that you can expand the reach of your campaign. Close family friends, uncles, aunts, and grandparents will surely be glad to lend you a helping hand if you get to inform them of your cause. Aside from sending emails to people in your community, you can also reach out to some of your family and friends out of town who may also be willing to help you. Send as many emails as you can. They are free so you can exploit them as much as you can.
