Pulsar actually defines a star which emits pulsating electromagnetic waves shining rapidly. Hence, as stunning as the bike’s looks with aerodynamic design along with outstanding performance it is true to its name as ‘Pulsar’. In short it creates an impression wherever it goes and attracts people with its vivid color; shine, design and sporty masculine look. Prior to Pulsar many variants of bike arrived in the market. Some of them are Platinum, Discover and Avenger. Before its launch the bike manufacturer came up with TV commercial ads showing Pulsar Stunts.
Pulsar Stunts are outstanding in performance. The stunts performed in the stunt mania rendered you speechless and were difficult to perform. Speed was very fast; the performance was eye-catching and breathtaking. When riding this bike, our heart throbs.
Pulsar is a sport bike giving good performance and satisfaction to those who are bent to get a sports bike. Some youngsters are mad upon going for a sports bike and for them Pulsar is a must. It has a lightning speed and sound of thunder. The design and shape pattern is remarkable; hood light is similar in design to that of the sports bike.
Since Pulsar has been introduced in 2007, the bike has undergone many up-gradations in design, shape, engine and petrol capacity. At first, when Pulsar was introduced in the year 2007 it had come with oil-cool feature and was known as Pulsar-200. Later the same year, a newer version of Pulsar 200 was launched and named as Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi. This model had more fuel capacity and was having a fuel-injection type engine. Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi remained in the market from 2007-09. It had a good performance and mileage along with an aerodynamic design. Later the company upgraded the technology of the same Pulsar model and came up with whole new different variants - Pulsar DTS, Pulsar DTS-I and Pulsar DTS-Si, which was introduced in 2009. This Pulsar model has a better performance and mileage capacity than its previous versions. It had a sporty dynamic look which was in demand and remained in fashion. Youngsters like to ride this type of bike.
All the Pulsar bikes are more in demand as they are good and comfortable for long drives. It is the choice of young generation because of its stunning look with sporty and masculine design and metallic colors. The Pulsar bikes have tubeless and alloy tyres. They have an automatic fuel injection. Another feature which attracts people are xenon lights, disc brakes, digital tachometer, speedometer and tripmeter, which give the bike more accuracy. Pulsar bikes start with engine variants like the Pulsar 150 & 180. Other variants are Pulsar bike 220 S and F. The Pulsar bikes have four gear transmissions, an air and oil cooled four-stroke cycle, single piston engine. The Pulsar bikes front suspension has telescopic fork technology; while rear one has nitroxgas accelerator and shock absorbers. Many features have been added to these models like high oil temperature and level alarm, low battery indicator and choked air filter indicator. Both front and rear tyres are tubeless with a projector lamp and push button start.
