Every two years or so there is a new breed of notebooks and technology that is released. For this keeping an update of all latest advances about technology isn’t a simple job.
For the first point ever in history, the notebooks are outselling the desktop. The Notebooks are now getting faster, smaller and are nearly matching the functionalities and performance levels of a desktop computer.
The Laptops are fast becoming better connected and the most high class notebooks come with the Wi-Fi connections. Most of them have the tri-mode 802.11a/b/g wireless system. Recent models like Ultra-Portable VAIO VGN-T350P from Sony have raised the bar with a feature called 'Built-in Cellular Modem' making is the first of its kind. Our cell phones can now be used to connect with the Internet. This is a great advantage as finding a 'Hot Spot' in many parts of our world is still difficult.
Portability is a main feature for any good business laptop. A good business laptop ought to be very portable. We should be able to take it in our briefcase with ease. It should have the weight which will not cause us any uneasiness or pain even if we have to carry it around all the day.
Most of the lightweight laptops can be set up in the 'Ultra-portable' and 'Thin and Light' categories of the notebooks. The Notebooks in these categories usually weigh less than 5 pounds and they are around 10/14 inches in size. Many of these are a lot smaller.
