Check out if the fitting really fits, the pipes in good condition, and so on. Since they're discounted, they could be substandard products that command cheaper price in the market. Remember that you're repairing or installing pipes for your home, not for your garden sprinkler.

I repeat my premise: Do not compromise saved money for the quality. If you do so, you might end up spending more for repairing your repairs, and that is the last thing you'd want to do.
