There was once a time when biometrics was considered so rare that it was not within everyone’s reach. Today many security companies are using biometric technology to provide security to various things ranging from business to vehicles to homes. It was once that biometric technology was considered so futuristic that we only saw it in movies. But now many offices and businesses are using this technology to secure and protect their assets. There are various types of protection units in biometrics. The most commonly used is the fingerprint recognition. Since finger prints of every individual are unique, a database can be created quite easily.
Nowadays vehicle alarms are also using the same technology. The Fingerprint Vehicle Security/Alarm System is one of a kind that goes beyond the basic car alarm system. It has advanced features and using fingerprint identification the car security system is encoded and along with that it prevents alarm decrypting. Like normal cars, this high tech system does not allow the use of keys. Infact a vehicle containing this device will have a keyless ignition. The car can be started by using your fingerprint and any unauthorized person trying to pry open the car will set off the alarm letting everyone know of a possible theft.
The input of data into the device is carried out by the master driver which itself is done through the password controller by voice instruction. This fingerprint vehicle security/alarm system has high recognition characteristics. It has the capability to verify and authenticate the user in less than 0.8 seconds. And it is designed to withstand high and low temperatures as well as humid weather within the range of - 45°C to + 85°C. No malfunction will occur due to high temperatures or wet weathers. In the same manner a dry or wet hand both can pass the verification. This device though weighing only 2 lbs provides high security characteristics at a price of only $699. Ignition device activation, accessing the car computer and the fuel supply are all carried out by fingerprint verification.
Biometric authentication is a practical approach for safety from hackers and other vandals. Long gone are the days when passwords used to be scribbled on to paper to remember them or in this case keys and codes. Live biometric cannot be copied which is why this Fingerprint Vehicle Security/Alarm System is the best way to protect your car from theft.
